The private, politically and religiously independent kindergarten was founded in 1993 by Phillip Knoch as the Institute for Modern Education. A Montessori kindergarten teacher and an assistant lead the group of approximately 20 to 25 children. Children come to our Montessori house from the regions of Adliswil, Langnau, Kilchberg, Rüschlikon, Thalwil and Zürich. Generally, they enter our kindergarten at three to six years of age and stay until they enter school.
